The analyst is expected to give a description of the target criterion. The description shall name the variable where the relevance is related to. Later, the target criterion is shown as title of the program window. This shall assure consistent input when recording success and failure of the examples. The analyst writes down the target criterion in the menue "session". The target criterion that differentiates acceptable from inacceptable examples may be for instance

"Data transmission feasible"

After selecting the menue item "Target criterion" a new window opens asking the user for a description of the target criterion.
The input of the target criterion is a simple action for the analyst. Nevertheless, it is an important step. The user has to decide prior to data input what variable shall determine the success of the variants and therefore be the ruling factor for relevance. After confirmation of the window the input is shown in the program window title. That underlines that all further input and the generated relevance values refer to that variable.
